FAQs
The Babbel App membership through Babbel for Business gives you online platform access, a dedicated customer success manager to help you along your team’s learning journey, an admin portal, onboarding, and reporting and analytics. Lessons are available in 10-15 minute increments in 14 languages that learners can practice through reading, writing, listening, and speaking. When you’re onboarded, you’ll get the chance to choose your language and learning level. There’s also podcasts and audio learning available for a hands-free and immersive experience. You can also play games and unlock culture bites to further expand on the lessons. Every lesson gets the user speaking with words and phrases they can use right away.
Yes! You can use Babbel on your phone, tablet, laptop, and desktop computer. You don’t need to install any special software to use Babbel on your computer, but we recommend updating your internet browser if you are using an older model. To use Babbel on the go, you’ll need to download the Babbel app for your mobile device. We have both iOS and Android versions for your convenience.
Babbel’s courses range from beginner level (A1 in the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages) all the way up to proficient learners (C1 CEFR level), depending on the learning language. When you log in, you can access all courses and lessons, allowing you to find something suited to your level, goals, and language needs. You can browse our courses and lessons to find your learning level, or you can take one of our placement tests. If you need help at any time, you can reach out directly to your Customer Success Manager.
You can track your team’s learning progress through the Admin Portal. It allows you to manage your company’s access as well as the ability to add learners and transfer access. This is where you can gain insights into which employees are actively learning. If you have an inactive learner and would like to transfer the seat over to a new learner, you can easily switch access over.
